Job Description

CACI is seeking a Sr Lead Systems Engineer to manage a major sub-function for a large program, which would include multiple teams led by project/program managers and leading flag level/decision meetings and briefs. Will establish and implement strategies to achieve business results. Will coordinate and execute functional requirements gap analysis of IT maintenance management systems

Manage a major sub-function for a large program, which would include multiple teams led by project/program managers and leading flag level/decision meetings and briefs.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

* Must demonstrate DON (or equivalent DoD) Executive Leadership experience on a Maintenance IT program. Demonstrated experience producing and staffing programmatic briefs and test plans.
* Demonstrated experience producing and staffing final reports. Proven supervisory and management skills with ability to supervise or manger multiple Project Mangers over a vast and diverse number of disciplines within a Maintenance Enterprise of a large world-wide organization.
* Experience with engineering project development from inception to deployment, demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in multiple tasks across several functional areas including the use of different technologies.
* Proven expertise in understanding program requirements of the types of tasks to be performed, ability to review and evaluate all work performed, management and control of funds and resources, and provide direction to ensure compliance with all management policies.
* At least twelve (12) years of recent professional experience in the Defense acquisition, three (3) years of which must have been in the previous six (6) years, in support of Navy Acquisition management; and a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience. Five (5) years’ experience within information technology associated with Maritime Maintenance.
* Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to Maritime Maintenance, its hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability.
* Experience managing engineering project development from inception to deployment, demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in multiple tasks across several functional areas including the use of different technologies. Knowledgeable of acquisition policies and procedures.
* Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series. Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management. Must fully understand the Navy’s Maritime Maintenance and Logistics IT Enterprise long term strategy and goals and be able to facilitate their execution.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) years of General Experience, eight (8) years must be of recent Specific Experience.
* Master’s Degree with eight (8) years of General Experience, five (5) years must be of recent Specific Experience.
* PHD with six (6) years of General Experience, five (5) years must be of recent Specific Experience
