Job Summary
Our team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Avionics Financial Planning and Analysis organization. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain Operations experience and work with a wide range of personnel.
HFM, SAP, Project Systems, COBRA, and GPD experience are a plus.
Job Responsibilities
* Financial focal point for Avionics New Product development
* Act as a lead analyst to consolidate financials for Avionics New Product Introduction inputs across Collins Aerospace
* Analyze/ communicate cost of programs during the development build phase as products transition to standard production
* Communicate cost risk and opportunities to business units. Along with internal communication to Production/Manufacturing and Finance leadership teams.
* Hold quarterly Estimate at Complete meetings with the Business Unit Controller, Program Office and Finance leadership to communicate impacts to the Balance Sheet and Income Statement
* Assist Program Managers in making business decisions and communicate cost variances used in negotiations with our customers
* Assists the manager with high level administrative tasks or complex projects as needed. Assists in the training, mentoring, and development of other financial analysts, and assumes supervisory responsibilities as delegated in the department manager’s absence.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
Must have SAP experience
