Job Summary

Test Equipment Services is looking for a team member in our On-Site support group in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Here you will be working with a wide variety of test equipment. This individual will need to be self-directed and customer focused. This position consists of daily interaction with peers and production while maintaining a monthly workload of calibration and repair. Hours are dayshift 7:00am -3:30pm.

Job Responsibilities

A Senior Calibration Technician is responsible for the repair and calibration of test equipment. This position requires a strong knowledge of electronic circuitry and troubleshooting skills. Additional desired ability to read electrical schematics, and computer skills. Must be able to provide excellent customer support to our internal Rockwell customers.

Additionally the candidate must be able to follow documented procedures. The candidate must be highly motivated, energetic, self directed, and able to work closely in a positive manner as part of an On-site Support team. The candidate is required to keep customers informed of the status of their equipment and work with peers to resolve complex issues. The candidate must have good Time Management skills and work from a weekly to-do list and be able to re-organize if priorities suddenly shift.

This position is for an experienced Electronics Technician who is knowledgeable about test equipment; specifically test equipment stations On-Site. Support activities will include calibration and repair of test stations; communicating directly with customers and project management in resolving issues. This position is for an energetic, enthusiastic person who is willing to learn and grow their career, who also likes to work with a diverse group of people on a regular basis, including engineers, technicians, managers, and bargaining unit personnel.

Basic Qualifications

Associates degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of an associate’s degree three years of related experience

*

Must be able to obtain security clearance – US Citizenship Required

*

Extensive experience with test equipment would be preferred

*

Excellent communicator both written and verbal

*

Ability to troubleshoot and repair off prints or written work instructions
