Source Inspector

Unitek Technical Services provides supplier management, development, and related technical services to corporations around the world.

Aerospace Source Inspector:

* The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards
* The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
* The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components.

* Prior experience with:

* Complex Mechanical

Skills Desired: Vast experience with Composites, Strong understanding of Quality processes and procedures (QMS)

Additional information

The candidate will be a Resident QE at GKN Aerospace Service Structures supporting the F-35 products with its quality expertise. Provide ongoing support to the supplier with RCA, CAPA and investigations. The candidate will also oversee and provide guidance to Lockheed Martin Source Inspector Visits.

Note:

* Expected Start date: 10th June 2019.

* Vendor Location: Cromwell, CT

* It is a part-time assignment

* Number of Visits: 0 visits a month

* Length of each visit: 9 hours per visit

* Applicant must be a US Citizen, we are unable to sponsor at this time

* W2 contract position to work on as needed basis
