Aerospace Mechanical Inspector needed to support Source Inspection activity at customer-supplier locations.

Frequency: 20 hours a week,

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• The ability to perform product source inspections including in-process, final, and first article inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements. Experience with hands-on dimensional inspection is required.

• The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.

• The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, cast, forged, and assembled aircraft structure.

The candidate must have experience in inspecting Aerospace parts with GD&T experience. Candidate must be fluent in utilizing computer, MS Office and Internet. This job is on-call/as needed basis. However, this job will be an average of 20 hours a week for at least 1 year.
