ABOUT THIS POSITION

The FAA has a
requirement that all aircraft flying in specified areas of airspace must be
equipped with Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast technology by Jan 1,
2020. KBRwyle has developed a system for
the FAA called the ADS-B Performance Monitor (APM) that performs analysis in
real time of whether aircraft are meeting the FAA’s requirements. The Software Tester will join an existing
Agile team to enhance the capabilities of the FAA’s ADS-B Performance Monitor
System. Specific duties will include:

* Developing test approaches, test cases, and test
procedures to verify the implementation of User Stories that describe the new
capabilities the ADS-B Performance Stakeholders need.
* Participate in daily Scrums with the APM team.
* Participate in Sprint Planning meetings to
prioritize and sequence product backlog items into the Sprints.
* Support the testing and release of incremental
software builds to deliver new capabilities to the customer.
* Develop documentation as required to support the
releases and final approval and acceptance of the software.

Qualifications

BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline.
* A minimum of 10 years software development/test
experience. An additional five years of
experience may be substituted for the degree stated.
* Must be a US Citizen and obtain an FAA
Suitability Determination and receive resume approval prior to start of work.

ADDITIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience testing Web based applications with a
database backend
* Experience with the following software
development technologies:

* ASP.NET
* C#
* Oracle
* DevExpress
* Experience with working in an Agile Scrum
environment
* Experience with JIRA is a plus
* Experience working with GitFlow is a plus
