Collins Aerospace is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Software Engineering position in the Tactical Communication and Maintenance Applications department. The ideal candidate will develop displays software for avionics and related products for multiple Missionized Rotary Wing Platforms.

Job Responsibilities

* Collaboration on software requirements and design.
* Implementing software, software requirements, test and design artifacts.
* Unit testing and software integration based on defined requirements and detailed design.

Basic Qualifications

* This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
* US Citizenship or Permanent Resident required.
* Awareness of the entire engineering process and should be knowledgeable and skilled with a variety of development and test tools.
* Experience and / or knowledge of Ada, C++, DO178 High / Low Level requirement and test development practices, and test automation development practices.
* Knowledge of Python, unit testing, Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA) or the ability to pick up these skills quickly.
* Familiarity with DOORs, Eclipse tools dna Plug-ins is desired.
* There may be travel associated with this position.
