Job Role:
A Software Engineer Intern will work with the Software Project Manager and Director of Engineering to create an appropriately scoped project fulfilling an immediate business need.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and document new features in existing software products
• Provide project assistance including managing build processes and creating tooling
• Learn new systems and development practices
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support Crystal Engineering Corp., a part of AMETEK, Inc.’s Mission Statement and company goals.
Technologies/Skills:
• Object-orient programming language such as C#, Java, C++
Position Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Individuals must be able to present and discuss project plans, requirements, test results, etc. in a team based work environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
