Job Role:

Software Engineer required to work on C and C++ software for an aerospace programme to defined DO178 standards. The role is full lifecycle Design, Code, and Test and we envisage the successful candidate to have a demonstrable track record in software design and development within an aerospace environment.

AT THE COAL FACE REQUIREMENTS

• Good understanding of Software Development lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of Do178
• Software Requirements generation & management.
• Determination of optimal architectures against requirements.
• Prototype Software development and coding. (Windows environment)
• Preparation of specifications, requirement documents, Interface Documents- internal and external.
• Software Test Schedules and Procedures.
• Conduct Software testing (standalone and within a system)
• Maintain software Baseline.
• Support for site continuous improvement activities

ADDITIONAL SECURITY INFORMATION: WE SEEK AN SOFTWARE ENGINEER WHO HAS WORKED IN A MILITARY / DEFENCE ENVIRONMENT / INDUSTRY WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR WHO IS CAPABLE OF OBTAINING SECURITY CLEARANCE (SC LEVEL MINIMUM)
