Job Description
CACI is seeking a Software Engineer to be part of a team participating in a variety of software projects, from cloud development to data analytics. You will use sound computer science/programming practices as the team evolves the architecture and the software. A key element of the job will be the advancement of machine learning/big data analytics for research and development projects, as well as on-contract development efforts. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers, from summer interns to principal software developers, in the development of solutions addressing a range of technical challenges.
What You’ll Get to Do:
* Contribute as part of the team, from programming to architecture evolution
* Develop software on bare metal and in the cloud
* Integrate machine learning and data analytics into the overall solution
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education:
B.S. degree in Computer Science
Experience:
2+ years of experience
Required Skills:
Software engineering/programming skills normally obtained through a 4- year degree program and 2-5 years of experience.
* Proficient in Linux
* Proficient in one or more programming languages
* Familiar with AWS technologies
* Familiar with machine learning/big data analytics
* Solid working knowledge of a variety of software tools to include IDE’s, source code control, and software DEVOPS tools
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
* Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Data Sciences
* AWS Sage Maker
