We are seeking a Linux Software Engineer that performs full lifecycle software development for military Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems.
You will demonstrate success by:
* Working in a Scrum team, developing Java applications in adherence to company software process.
* Coordinating with the Product Owner to determine scope.
* Designing and developing graphical user interfaces.
* Using well-known architectural and design patterns to solve complex problems.
* Leveraging test-driven development strategies to develop maintainable software applications.
* Maintaining and continuously improving legacy code.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field: Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
* Experience developing Javascript/NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Python programs in a Linux environment.
* Experience with build systems such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
* Experience with distributed software version control systems such as Git or Mercurial.
* Experience in working in an Agile development environment.
* Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Understanding of MVC architecture and its variants.
* Experience developing OSGi bundles, preferably with bnd tools.
* Proficient in JavaFX, SQL, Redis and Vue.
