Description
This position will primarily focus on software development and function as a system integrator within a Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) engineering team, which develops and integrates custom digital signal processing (DSP) solutions for various environments. Seeking candidates which are self-motivated, high energy, team players with excellent development and communication skills to design, implement, integrate and maintain signal processing systems. Candidates will work in a small team and perform a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to, software requirements analysis, design, implementation, documentation, and testing. Candidates will work in a collaborative team environment on both quick reaction and traditional life-cycle projects. This position will allow for interaction with end users and customers.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline and five (5) years relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Required Skills
* Proficiency with Linux/UNIX processes and operating systems is required
* Experience developing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software is required .
* Solid C/C++ programming experience is required .
* Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment or on independent assignments with multiple, competing high-priority projects is required .
* Familiarity with the full software life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, integration, and demonstration is required .
Desired Skills
* Experience with GPU programming of DSP algorithms desired.
* Experience with Python, JavaScript and related technologies is desired.
* Knowledge and understanding of RF and receiver concepts is desirable.
* Interest and willingness to travel is desirable.
This position requires an ACTIVE DoD Top Secret clearance with access to SCI (TS/SCI), which requires U.S. citizenship.
