Job Description
CACI is seeking a Software Developer for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems built on a three-tier platform running in a replicated environment in Chesapeake VA. This position requires a solid understanding of application development tools, specifically Delphi XE10 and SQL Anywhere 16. The software developer will have an opportunity to utilize Object Oriented programming and database expertise.
What You’ll Get to Do:
* Responsible for maintaining the DHAMS and ShipCLIP software baselines
* Presents ideas for system improvements
* Conducts impact analysis for software changes.
* Produces detailed specifications and writes software code. Works closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
* Conducts unit tests and documents findings.
* Supports formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
* Adheres to program configuration change control standards.
* Provides input into training manuals for users.
* Understands the structure and functionality of the GOTS applications (e.g., DHAMS, ShipCLIP).
* Extends applications by using applicable application tools.
* Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.
* Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for DHAMS and ShipCLIP
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5 + years of Delphi Development experience
* 5 + years or SAP SQL Anywhere database experience
* Preference for at least one (1) security certification, e.g., Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, etc.
* Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
* 3+ Years’ experience with Sybase DbRemote
* Experience with the MSC DHAMS application
* Knowledge of MSC HRMS Application
* Familiarity with Install-Shield or other installer systems.
