Job Description
We’re looking to add a Software Developer to our Linux team. You will maintain, develop, integrate, troubleshoot in-house Applications and API frameworks.
You will automate and tune operational support processes. Act as the back-up and assist operational support members as required. work with other teams, program leadership, and key stake holders as needed. Use best practices to update software processes currently used by the team. Help develop standards in our development approach.
You will bring:
* 2-4 years of daily exposure resolving/automating complex tasks and issues.
* 2-4 Years’ programming in Python (2.x & 3.x)
* 2-4 Years’ programming in Ruby
* Demonstrated experience with CentOS/Redhat 7. Basic command line administration in a Linux environment.
You will have one of the following:
* 10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
* 8 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
* 4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
* 3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
* 2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
It would be nice if you had:
* Web application development (Django, flask, Bootstrap, jquery, HTML5...)
* Exposure to automation and integration with enterprise services such as Active Directory, backup services, API use and development, DNS, Centrify.
* Experience working in a Dev/Ops environment.

9am to 3pm (after hours support as required)
