Software Applications Developer TSSCI with Polygraph

Job Description:

Leidos is in need of a software applications developer to support a dynamic and exciting software development program. This position will be part of a team of applications developers supporting multiple projects which include high profile high visibility projects offering technical learning opportunities. These projects are all within the cloud and support multiple mission partners. The ideal candidate will have AWS experience developing for the cloud to include complete secure cloud integrations, optimizing cloud connectivity, and managed cloud services. This position is located in Northern Virginia and does not require travel. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required in order to be considered.

The ideal software developer will have the capacity to develop web applications using JAVA, JAVAScript, NodeJS, and/or Angular. The developer will work with the overall program team in the design and development of new applications as well as integrating new solutions on existing applications. The candidate will be able to analyze and solve complex application development needs to identify solutions to include potential new tools/technologies. A strong candidate will have commanding knowledge of Javascript software development principles and be energized by the capability to learn and implement new skills. The candidate should be proficient in web application development to include troubleshooting and software upgrades. Products and/or services reside in development, test and production AWS environments. Experience working in a DevOps environment developing within an Agile environment using code delivery mechanisms, such as Maven, Ant, continuous build systems such as Jenkins, Git, code repositories such as Subversion, and continuous delivery solutions, such as Jenkins, or Puppet.

Mandatory Skills:

* Requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience
* Experience with Java
* Experience with JavaScript
* Experience with Node/Or willingness to learn Node

Desired Skills:

* Experience developing in PHP or the willingness to learn PHP
* Experience developing HTML views with CSS
* Developing with AngularJS services
