Position – Senior Training Support Coordinator (TSC)

Location – Dublin Ireland

In order to realize this, we are seeking to recruit professionals with a ‘can-do’ attitude possessing the ability to think outside of the box when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To ensure that the operation carried out by the Training Department meets the standards as set out by the NPCT and maintains control of the following activities:

 

• To co-ordinate training planning programmes with crew planning

• To monitor and track any open items on the Quality Audit Programme

• To co-ordinate the process for the maintenance of Certification and Authority acceptance of all training devices

• To maintain Instructor and Examiner ratings, authorisations and records up to date (E.G. TRI/TRE/SFI/SFE/TC Certificates)

• To enrol SAIL crews onto required eLearning training modules

• To monitor and provide timely reports on the annual recurrent ground school programme to ensure completion target is met and the administration of updates to Operations Manual Part D, Training Instructions and publication of the annual revision.

• Ensure that appropriate and adequate training facilities are available to the organization in accordance with the requirements of the Authority.

• Responsible for issue of training documentation, inclusive handbooks, circulars, instructions & information needed for training.

• Assist the NPCT in obtaining and checking prerequisite and documents of new course candidates.

• Assure that the training records issued by the Training Department are up to date.

• Ensure that the booking of simulators and classrooms for initial, conversion courses and recurrent training for SAIL crew.

• Ensure that hotel and ticket reservation in connection with courses and training is acceptable.

• Maintain training records for flight- and cabin crew, and ensure that these are kept up-dated in the company rostering system.

• Assist the NPCT in obtaining and checking prerequisite and documents of new course candidates.

• Other tasks as assigned by NPCT.

 

Experience & Qualifications  

  • 3+ years experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and mandatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Excellent IT and systems skills
  • Ability to analyse and decide a course of action in a timely manner
  • Experience in outsourced business operations.
