ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an employment opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer for a government location in Washington, DC.

This is a contingent position - actual employment will be dictated by contract award. Candidates meeting the minimum requirements will be contacted by a member of our recruiting team.

Description

Support areas include assisting in Systems of Systems trade studies, capability analysis, gap analysis, technology development strategies and other assessments . Tasks will include:
• System of System analysis including analysis of alternatives and recommendations for technology investment to drive system performance
• Planning and guiding systems engineering studies, analysis efforts, and risk working groups
• Support development and execution of systems engineering trade studies, performance metrics, systems requirements, mission analysis, CONOPS, and risk management plans
• Preparation and review of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPS) and Systems Engineering Master Plans (SEMPS)
• Support systems integration and requirements identification
• Support the identification of future technology enablers to enhance system performance

Qualifications

• Applicant must have a minimum four (8) years’ experience Systems Engineering or Engineering support within Department of Navy (DoN) environment and particularly within Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
• Possess a four (4) year college degree in engineering or sciences.

Desired experience:

• Experience working with naval sensor, weapon and combat systems with a particular emphasis on the Aegis Combat System.
• Two years of experience working in an enhanced security environment.
