An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a dynamic UK Operation.
As part of this team this person will deputise in times of absence for the Head Safety & Compliance and will be responsible to the Head of Safety & Compliance for the completion an independent quality system to monitor compliance with EASA Part 145 requirements.
The applicant should have attained commensurate quality experience gained within the aviation industry to a level that would support this position both to the company and to the CAA.
Main Duties :-
- To assist with the operation of the Quality Department.
- To carry out quality audits to satisfy the requirements of Part 145 in accordance with the Quality Assurance Audit Plan.
- To assist the Safety & Compliance Manager with timely investigation into incidents notified on company Incident reporting forms, either Flight Crew or Engineering staff initiated.
- Ensuring that all aspects of airworthiness are complied with, and the work quality is such that it satisfies the company quality standards.
- Ensuring by audit that all work packs and separate job sheets are fully comprehensive and clearly define the tasks, i.e. inspection, opening up access, cleaning, tooling, special instructions, functioning, closing up, and references to airworthiness data.
- Assists with the continuing development of the Safety Management System to the benefit of the company.
