Electric, Environmental & Engine Systems is seeking an experienced, talented and self-motivated individual to serve as the Operations Program Manager for AMS Operations. This role is responsible for communicating production deliveries to both internal and external leadership and managing the operations program leads who are the primary liaison for all AMS customers. Along with analyzing and communicating risk, the Operations Program Manager leads the OPM team with regards to all aspects of the programs including operations, support of planning, manufacture, and delivery of hardware requirements for the assigned programs, and any customer rate readiness assessments. The ideal candidate will need to balance tactical delivery improvements along with strategic long-term solutions to achieve on-time delivery metrics.

The position will work closely with the Program Management Office and the External Customer on a regular basis to ensure both internal and customer expectations are met. It is essential for the candidate to have impeccable communication and leadership skills. Dedication, accountability, and a positive attitude are also needed.

Primary Responsibilities

* Planning, communication and execution coordination of manufacturing planning and hardware schedule milestones and leadership of the extended operations support team
* Provide operations strategy to the PMT to meet the program needs
* Customer Focal point on all operations/supply chain aspects of the program
* Identify and mitigate risks to schedule, identifying and managing action owners to resolution

Qualification:
Basic Qualifications
* BA/BS degree w/ 7 years experience
* MA/MS degree w/ 5 years experience
* Ph.D. degree w/ 2 years experience

Education:
* BS/BA in engineering, business administration or related field
* MBA (preferred but not required)
