Role Purpose
* Technical interface between aircraft lessors and MAB to ensure leased aircrafts are maintained to the required standards.
Key Accountability
* To facilitate yearly aircraft lessor audit inspections of in-service aircraft and technical records with the relevant departments in MAB.
* To close out technical audit findings of leased aircrafts and records in a timely manner.
* Project manage aircraft end-of-lease redelivery to aircraft lessors by ensuring return conditions per the lease agreement have been met.
* Perform technical evaluation of used aircrafts to be leased by MAB & manage the technical transition of the nominated aircraft into MAB fleet of aircraft.
* Perform technical evaluation of aircraft lease agreements and provide technical recommendations.
Qualification & Working Experience
* Degree holder in Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with minimum 4 years working experience in Technical Services, Aircraft Maintenance, Project Management experience
Skills & Knowledge
* Familiar with aircraft maintenance processes, documentation & airworthiness regulatory requirements
* Knowledge of the airline business and management of leased aircrafts are essential
* Must have prior basic project management skills
* Proficient computer literacy and able to converse well with external parties
Key Challenges
* Managing requirements & expectations of multiple aircraft lessors on a daily basis
* Communicating lessor yearly audit findings to internal stakeholders and managing deliverables of internal stakeholders to close the audit findings
* Managing expectations of aircraft lessors during aircraft end-of-lease returns
