Senior Engineer - DSP

L3 Interstate Electronics Corporation Division was founded in 1956 and for over 60 years IEC has played a key role in the most successful defense system of modern history. Headquarted in Anaheim, CA, IEC is a recognized leader in defense and security solutions, providing critical technology advancements in the areas of GPS/Position Navigation and Timing, and Range and Test Solutions.
Job Summary:
Responsibilities include digital signal processing (DSP) modeling and designs of GPS-based Navigation Systems. Will also be responsible for algorithm development, modeling, system simulation, implementation and verification with emphasis on military GPS receivers. The engineer will participate in the product development process.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience :
Position requires a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years overall professional experience, and a passion to pursue a career with L3 IEC.
* Ideal candidates will recently have 5+ years of experience with modeling and simulation experience.
* Experience with MATLAB modeling and simulation tools is required.
* Must have strong math background and digital/analog signal processing experience.
* Experience with requirements development/management is a +.
Special Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. An Active or Current US DoD SECRET clearance is strongly desired.
