Key Accountabilities

Reporting to the Manager, Asset Management, this position is responsible for supporting the strategic decision-making ability of the ADTS senior management team through the provision of data and analysis of business unit performance, metrics and measures.

The Senior Analyst will guide and influence ADTS unit senior managers and members of their teams toward labor, contracted service and customer service performance metric analytics. Also, responsible for providing guidance with sound business case development for optimum business management and performance in line with ADTS customer and business development needs and Enterprise Asset Management Policy, Goals and Objectives.

The position will be focused on supporting the strategic decision-making ability of the airports three critical flows with the intent to deliver a highly reliable, safe and efficient processing systems for Toronto Pearson. The Senior Analyst is responsible for equipment criticality rankings, failure modes and effect analysis (FMEA), reliability centered maintenance strategies (RCM), equipment care plans, rebuild checklists; spare parts inventory optimization and vibration analysis programs.

* Support the strategic Baggage Services Roadmap and align overall business needs to Corporate strategy

* Labour and headcount data provisioning, analytics and story development for unionized, non-unionized and contracted service provider performance metrics related to performance based contracts

* Maximize value-for-money of Airport physical assets through compliance of ISO55000 asset management standard

* Increase cost effectiveness, reliability, uptime and manage risk of airport systems through Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies.

* Support the development and implementation of the GTAA Asset Management Policy, goals and objectives with ADTS senior management team through regularly scheduled performance reporting and analysis of business effectiveness

* Asset lifecycle performance reporting & asset health analysis of GTAA facilities and infrastructure

* Labour planning and related business case support including data provisioning, analytics and documentation development related to unionized, non-unionized and contracted service business strategies

* Financial reporting oversight and analysis to influence and support strategic business decisions and direction related to contracted services, insource/outsource, capital initiatives and overall critical flow operational and technical performance

* Support and influence sound business and labour planning and decisions by providing business managers and senior leaders with articulate business case analytics and presentations showcasing the benefits and/or risks associated with insourcing and outsourcing specific areas of the business

* Supervise and build a formidable team that will analyze ADTS business unit metrics and evaluates performance against corporate goals and departmental objectives

* Provide reporting and analysis along with insight and solutions for continuous improvement initiatives

* Oversee and maintain the schedule for monitoring, reporting on and influencing improvements to ADTS contracted and internal workforce technical services, and their related financial and operational performance metrics

* Technical performance monitoring, reporting schedules and analysis against the Asset Management Plan

* Oversee and coordinate improvement projects and initiative implementations as a lead using clear and articulate communication and change management practices and meeting deadlines.

* Continual improvement of process, people and technology using Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies to deliver stable and predictable results

* Coordinate the analytical team to proactively review and analyze real-time and historical data for identifying trends to influence improvements to organizational service level agreements (SLA’s).

* Develop and facilitate process for creation, monitoring and improvement of internal and external customer service level agreements (SLA’s)

* Coordinate, facilitate and organize daily, weekly, monthly, continuous improvement meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

* Must possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Airport Management, Facility Management, Business Analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Minimum of 5-7 years of continuous improvement business analytics experience in a Manufacturing, Facilities or Airport environment

* A recognized Facilities Maintenance designation or advanced standing towards same is preferred (BOMI, PEMAC, etc.)

* Must be able to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Strong organizational skills, self-motivation and results driven

* Demonstrated skill and experience in manipulating and interpreting data, predicting trends, establishing priorities, solving problems and a strong ability to perform sound business analysis and reporting

* Ability to facilitate meetings and lead discussion around continuous improvement efforts

* Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen methodologies

* Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

* Ability to think big picture and work with minute details

* Ability to influence decisions based on relevant business issues and supporting data

* Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated understanding of business analysis, planning and reporting

* Strong ability to influence others thinking and present highly complex issues in a straightforward manner

* Excellent oral, presentation and written communication with a strong ability to communicate and present in a concise, clear, and articulate manner

* Ability to develop and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the organization

* Ability to be flexible, adapt quickly to change and realign business priorities

* Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Power Point, Word, Access, and Excel)

* Ability to proficiently work with and use enterprise databases, preference to working knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle

* Proficient with Maximo, Perspective and or other CMMS and reporting systems and methodology

* Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to process design with strong business acumen and maintain a customer centric approach

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
