Job Role:
Senior engineer to design, construct, and test aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft and their associated systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft.
May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.
May recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A Bachelors Degree plus 12 years of experience, a Masters Degree plus 10 years of experience or a PhD plus 7 years of experience is required.
An active Secret security clearance is required.
At least 6 years of the foregoing total experience shall have been in the support or development of aircraft systems or subsystems.
At least 3 years as a team leader, project manager, or principal designer or systems engineer.
