This hands-on position is responsible for fabricating and refurbishing aircraft interior furnishings.
Other requirements include:
* Ability to follow instructions
* Work with a team in order to accomplish an established goal
* Cut, pattern, and sew aircraft seating (not always required)
* Strip coverings from existing interior panels and re-cover with new materials
* Repair damaged interior panels as directed by the Manager or Crew Chief
* Other duties as assigned
Job requirements
Top candidates will possess excellent attention to detail, be extremely organized and have a positive attitude.
Other requirements include:
* Proven ability/experience to pattern and sew seating components in aircraft, automotive, marine or furniture
* Experience in foam/buildup/evaluation/disassembly and assembly of seating components desired
* High school diploma or equivalent
