To qualify for this opening, you will have an Aviation related qualification (or equivalent) ideally with a focus in safety and/or risk management. Alternatively, have
previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within the Aviation industry.

The Role:
To provide advice and support to line managers so that they can fulfil their aviation safety responsibilities and implement the company’s aviation safety
management system into their areas of responsibility.

The Requirements:
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of primary safety legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
- Understanding of and ability to undertake and facilitate risk assessments.
- Day-to-day management of the airline’s occurrence reporting system and occurrence reporting database
- Experience of conducting investigations into incidents and hazardous occurrences.
The Person:
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral (e.g. report writing, briefing and presentation skills).
- Good influencing and persuading skills.
- Ideally strong analytically with experience of data analysis, providing statistics and producing reports
