The Retrofits, Modifications and Upgrades (RMU) COE organization of Honeywell Aerospace have an immediate need for a Senior Systems Engineer to be a technical focal on Connected Aircraft STC programs. The selected candidate will act in a lead technical capacity for a variety of avionics, cabin management and SATCOM systems programs to achieve certification and unlock potential revenue for aftermarket sales. They will work directly with aircraft OEM engineering, internal and external installation
partner organizations, as well as aircraft certification agencies (e.g. FAA,
EASA, TCA, ANAC).

Provide technical direction to engineering teams, anticipate issues and finding solutions

Be instrumental in developing quality products package for STC and certification

Work closely with core development programs to ensure seamless hand off at product entry into Service.Be able to work on multiple program activities in the same time period

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

* Bachelors Degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical/scientific field
* 8+ years of experience with development and integration of complex electronic systems

* Previous Systems Engineering experience and active member of a large engineering development team
* Strong team building, mentoring and communications skills to lead and motivate a members to achieve team and individual goals
* Applicant should be highly motivated with demonstrated leadership, communication, program management skills and ability to influence technical decisions
* Strong technical skills with an emphasis in the areas of integrated systems development, DO-178B development processes, systems aspects of certification, ARP-4754Experience and technical understanding of aircraft systems technology and products is highly desired
* Be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic team oriented environment, able to identify and manage risks & opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and activities

* Possess excellent customer interface skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical personnel
