We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for Technician II in our Lynnwood Washington FAA Repair Station.

Location: * Lynnwood, WA

Shift: * 2nd (Shift time approximately 2pm - 11pm)

Job Overview:

You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electro-mechanical aircraft assemblies.

Responsibilities:

1) Read and understand Component Maintenance Manuals.

2) Test and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies, analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for repair and/or adjustment.

3) Perform repairs, maintenance and calibration of electro-mechanical assemblies per the Component Maintenance Manuals.

4) Write teardown reports and accurately record inspection and test results.

5) Participate in cleaning of area and machinery and take part in team meetings for improvement.

6) Complete job-related company training courses.

7) Support Crane Business System (CBS) initiatives including 5S, KPI’s, Standard Work, Problem Solving, and other process improvement initiatives as they arise.

8) Understand and/or participate with internal/external quality audits.

9) Perform inventory cycle counts.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; Good reading comprehension (understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents); Basic computer skills (understanding of basic software)

Abilities: Accurate color vision, near vision, and depth perception and other vision capabilities required; Manipulative skills, including finger and manual dexterity; Adept hand-eye coordination and arm-hand steadiness; Ability to understand and use component maintenance manuals; Works well in a team environment; Ability to function successfully in a high paced work environment.

Education/Certification: Possess an Associate’s Degree in Electronics or have equivalent experience from two or more years of electronics and/or electro-mechanical troubleshooting in a related industry.

Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) and able to work under FAA FSDO requirements to be eligible.

Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment that may include safety glasses, heel straps, shop coats, face shields, gloves etc. Requires lifting up to 40 lbs
