Moog in East Aurora, NY is looking for a Repair Process Engineer to provide direct repair process support to Commercial Aircraft aftermarket customer products. Here’s what you can expect to do as a Repair Process Engineer at Moog …. * Develop repair capability for Moog and 3rd party products within the framework of customer contracts and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC, Etc.) * Utilize common and/or develop unique repair processes to reduce turnaround time (TAT) and repair costs for out of/or in production repair or replacement parts. * Provide engineering definition for standard repair processes to be compliant with Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) requirements. * Define/develop test equipment parameters to provide required system level tests as defined by CMMs * Provide and meet detailed schedules and budgets to assure timely completion in support of business sector sales / revenue growth strategies. * Work within a team environment and utilize lean principles to incorporate world class repair processes into regional (global) commercial repair shops. YOU’LL NEED …. * Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree and related work experience defined below: o >5 years working as an Engineer with Moog products or similar products o Or >7 years in an aerospace technical service role developing repair processes * The incumbent should have a strong understanding of Commercial Aircraft Group products, with technical expertise in Aftermarket Overhaul and Repair EOE/AA Minority/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Female/Disability/Veteran EOE/AA Minority/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Female/Disability/Veteran
