ISR &Space Systems is seeking a Reliability -Systems Engineer to join our team in Rockford, Illinois.

Tasks/Analyses to include, but not limited to:
Conduct electrical reliability/maintainability/safety tasks, analyses, and design guidance for electronic designs having applications on military and space platforms.
Requirements validation and decomposition of high level RM&S requirements to lower level requirements documents.
Development and execution of reliability programs in accordance with GEIA-STD-0009 and/or MIL-STD-785.
Reliability modeling of systems and reliability block diagram reduction techniques.
Reliability Prediction using MIL-HDBK-217F, Notice 2 part count and parts stress analysis methods.
FMEA/FMECA in accordance with MIL-STD-1629A Notice 2 at the functional and piece part level.
Electrical circuit analysis/stress analysis to determine operating stresses of components for reliability prediction, FMEA/FMECA and derating analyses.
Markov/Fault Tree/Dependence Diagram analysis.
System Safety program development and execution in accordance with MIL-STD-882.
System Hazard Analysis and Safety Assessment Report development in accordance with MIL-STD-882.
Maintainability program development and execution including maintainability prediction and maintenance task analysis.
Assessment of reliability at confidence using test / observed data.
Reliability test (demonstration/HASS/RGT) development.
Provide technical RM&S support to IPTs, Operations and Procurement for concurrent product development and mature product support environments

Qualification:
* Conceptual knowledge of development program processes, systems, electronic circuits, electronic components, software and statistics preferred.
* Experience with requirements management (i.e. DOORS) and Microsoft Office suite preferred
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Critical thinking skills.
* Analog and digital circuit design and analysis knowledge required.
* Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings.

Due to federal contracts US Citizenship is required
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 10-15 years’ experience, minimum of 7 years in a reliability/maintainability/safety role

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 7-10 years’ experience, minimum of 5 years in a reliability/maintainability/safety role.
