Job Description

Perform various visual and dimensional inspections of incoming Piper manufactured or vendor provided materials and products for conformance to drawings and specification. Test electrical and mechanical equipment for conformance to established standards. Use a wide assortment of tools and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, ohm meter, Rockwell hardness tester, etc. Work independently or with minimal direction from Leadperson/Supervisor.

Required Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and three to five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires the use of acquired knowledge along with the ability to interpret drawings and/or blueprints.
