Quality Technician

PURPOSE:

This position commonly reports to the Quality Manager. Quality technician works under the guidance of the quality manager and quality engineers. Quality technician is responsible for implementing, improving and enforcing the quality system at Carson City Operation under the guidance and assignment of duties by the quality manager or quality engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

Process customer returns and coordinate disposition of parts under guidance of quality engineer by using the visibility system.

*

Create work Instructions under instruction from quality engineer.

*

Review customer supplied specifications for revision and updates on customer portals.

*

Conduct internal audits of PCC process/process.

*

Conduct internal audits of PCC quality system.

*

Release product to be shipped as an authorized Quality Representative of the customer.

*

Identify and address safety considerations within the scope of their job responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

*

Requires high school diploma .

*

knowledge of inspection and manufacturing techniques including reading work instructions and travelers.

*

Strong verbal and written communication skills

*

Strong computer skills with Microsoft office.

*

Experience with visibility ERP system or similar system.
