Marenco Swisshelicopter AG is a young and innovative Aviation Company which is working on the development and production of a new single engine Helicopter. The Marenco Swisshelicopter Group has more than 230 employees at locations in Switzerland and Germany. The first flight of SKYe SH09 was performed in October 2014 and the start of the serial production is planned in 2018.

Your responsibilities

  • Establish an independent quality assurance system to monitor compliance of the EASA Part-145 maintenance organization with EASA and FAA requirements
  • Setup the QMM for EASA ATO in the position as Compliance Monitoring Manager and establish adequate system to monitor compliance of the EASA ATO organisation
  • Implementation of an adequate quality assurance e.g. conformity inspections for prototypes, component maintenance. Also define which kind of documents the maintenance supplier has to delivery together with the hardware which is checked by the incoming inspection
  • Implement a quality audit program which monitors compliance and the adequacy of procedures required to ensure safe operational practices and airworthy aircraft / components in context to EASA regulations, national legislation as well as company policies, standards, regulations and procedures
  • Preparing an audit plan for MOA and ATO acceptable to the Authority and carrying out by himself or nominated auditors the necessary Audits
  • Organisation of audit reports, ensuring that any observed non-compliances or poor standards are brought to the attention of the person concerned, requesting remedial and corrective action as necessary within MOA and ATO
  • Follow up and closure of any non-conformances identified by the Authority or Agency
  • Establishing regular meetings with the Accountable Manager to appraise the effectiveness of the quality system. This will include details of any reported discrepancy not being adequately addressed by the relevant person or in respect of any disagreement concerning the nature of a discrepancy
  • Defining the human factors principles to be implemented within the organization for MOA
  • Issuing the MOE and ATO QMM, and to keep the content up to date

Your qualifications

  • Hold a technical college degree in engineering and commercials or equivalent
  • A technical apprenticeship e.g. as aircraft mechanic will be an advantage as well as helicopter pilot licence
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in QM of aviation
  • Very familiar with EASA continuing airworthiness requirements of EASA Part-145, FAA Part-145 and EASA ATO
  • ISO (19011) education for auditing
  • Proved experience in collaboration with the civil aviation Authority
  • Approved EASA Form 4 for MOA and ATO
  • Skills and experience with CAMO for helicopter will be an advantage
  • Good English language skills, both verbal and in writing and good knowledge of German language as mother tongue will be an advantage
  • Experience with setup of process flows in a database
  • Basic knowledge of NDT procedures.
  • Good team player skills, self-driven attitude and the ability to work to fixed Deadlines
  • Proved leadership for leading employees
  • Willingness to travel
