Our client, a leading aerospace company based in Filton are looking for a Quality Lineside Engineer up to Christmas 2017, possibly longer.
To Lead and drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and identifying/facilitating improvements to increase process performance and product adherence to standards, reliability of processes, and repeatability of processes. At initial design phase, before any process changes are made and continuously through the life of a product.
Carry out investigations and root cause analysis on quality & technical issues reported from shop floor teams and various stakeholders with customer focus. Ensure appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions are taken by the accountable responsible function through the use of multifunctional teams. Contribute to secure production TAKT by rapid resolution of quality issues and FOD prevention. Perform the relevant quality inspections and operational surveillance on delegated tasks as per defined standards
