You’ll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

We have an opportunity for a Quality Inspector at our Redmond, WA facility on 2nd Shift (1:30 pm to 10pm)

Overall Responsibilities:

* Performs visual and dimensional inspection and recordkeeping of production products to ensure quality and conformance.

* Physically and visually inspects and verifies characteristics against predetermined specifications.

* Documents results per internal procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Proactively communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization.

* Works from requirement standards and established operating procedures to determine acceptance of incoming supplier components

* Communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization.

* Enters data into software tools.

* Completes required training.

* Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

* Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as a Quality Inspector or Operator in an electronics manufacturing environment.

* High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Pass eye exam (visual acuity)

* Ability to work long hours looking into a microscope

* Demonstrated experience proactively identifying errors and systematic trends

* Demonstrated ability to follow complex work instructions

* Demonstrated experience in an environment that requires attention to detail and focus

* Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills

* Proficient with MS Office

Special Work Conditions:

* Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet

* the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

* Eligibility requirements include U.S. nationals or permanent residents (Green Card).

Working Environment:

* Standing: 10% - 20%

* Sitting: 90% - 80%

* Lifting (in pounds): up to 20 pounds

* Pushing (in pounds): up to 25 pounds

* Mental/Visual: Use of computer, calipers, pin gauges, microscope and other

* inspection tools

* Workspace (line, cube, etc): cube, line and classroom
