Description
Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Assist in maintaining Quality Assurance standards and certifications including AS9100 and Nadcap commodities.
Perform audits, complete checklists, and participate in external audits as needed.
1. Maintain and develop, as needed, procedures, forms, and work instructions.
2. Measurement of supplier base through receiving inspection data/metrics, questionnaires, and on-site audits.
3. Drive scrap reduction efforts through cross-functional teams.
4. Participate in continuous improvement process/teams as required.
5. Develop and implement new methods in inspection and testing, including the establishment of control plans.
6. Maintain Quality Assurance documentation and records control.
7. Write and publish technical reports as requested.
8. Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventive actions as an output of internal and external audits.
9. Interact with Teammates, Customers, and Auditors in a positive working manner.
10. Perform machine capability studies as needed.
11. Perform gage R & R studies, and measurement system studies.
12. Analyze data to access process and equipment compliance to target goals and specifications. Utilize SPC tools. Identify opportunities and implement corrective actions where needed.
13. Perform process and product FMEAs.
14. Educate and train Teammates in quality and manufacturing techniques as required.
15. Review and monitor results of monthly test orders.
16. Oversee First Article Inspection program.
17. Assist in review of new orders and the OCF process, ensuring customer notes and clauses are captured and implemented.
18. Assist in the review and implementation of applicable engineering change notices (ECNs).
19. Develop into a resource contact for QA and manufacturing.
20. Perform all duties within policies and procedures established by RBC AeroStructures, regulatory and customer guidelines.
21. Perform any other assigned duties as requested.
