Description

This position is responsible for supporting the Quality Management System under the direction of the Quality Operations Manager to ensure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.

The incumbent is responsible for project management, program launches and working in conjunction with the Heim Management Team to establish projects relevant to Quality system enhancements and Inspection methods.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action/preventive action plans for process and customer related concerns.

2. Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure production of new products or transfer of existing products are in accordance with approved data

3. Perform statistical analysis relative to quality performance and product failure modes.

4. Direct continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen events, lean manufacturing methods, risk mediation activities, etc.

5. Develop training aids to build quality awareness and perform training as necessary.

6. Support the Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.

7. Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.

Due to ITAR Regulations this positions requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
