Description
Based in New York City, you will perform all quality assurance processes, inspections, product testing, recording and analyzing results. You will follow through on established site maintenance processes and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards, ensure continuous improvement of technician workmanship improved safety due to less rework and continual safety mentorship, improve reliability and participate in root cause analysis exercise for MSI’s.
In your role you will:

Perform inspections of purchased parts (incoming inspection), subassemblies or completed PM’s according to established criteria (Maintenance Plan) utilizing mechanical or electrical measurements;

Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards;

Interacte with maintenance technicians and supervisors to ensure quality standards are met, providing feedback regarding adherence to maintenance practices;

Communicate safety awareness, ensuring technicians are within compliance with proper PPE and workmanship standards;

Develop safe working objectives standards to assist technicians with daily O&M job activities (in conjunction with Safety Manager);

Evaluate and recommend improvements for tooling or procedures, ensure tool calibration, recommend improvements to the Maintenance Plan, and ISO:9001 Certification.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate:
-
You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Health and Environment, Science, Management or Engineering;

You have minimum two (2) years of experience in quality engineering function;
-
You have working knowledge of maintenance management processes and systems;
-
You own the ability to understand and coordinate complex technical issues that required the use of project management techniques and statistics;
-
You possess the ability to understand and solve complex technical problems and develop recommendations for improved quality standards and practices;
-
You have excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
