Job Description
The primary role of the Quality Engineer is to ensure the business remains compliant to the local business Quality Management Systems.
Competent Quality Professional capable of working under their own initiative with minimal supervision. An understanding of daily prioritisation of work and the need to escalate problems where required. Able to carry out routine quality activities in accordance with relevant processes and procedures.
Key understanding of:
Receipting of parts and Materials
Goods in
Certification requirements, Ideally for materials 3.1 and 3.2. CofC and pressure test certification
Non conformance management
Ideally SAP experience.
Additional Information
Work as a fully contributory member of the Quality team
Undertake routine Quality activities without immediate supervision
Undertake non-routine activities with some supervision
Manage own development
Able to access, have a clear understanding of and apply the local Management System documentation e.g. Policies, procedures and processes
Liaise/ interface with appropriate areas of the business to ensure work schedules are met and results effectively communicated and deployed
Use of Company computer systems software as appropriate.
Must be eligible to obtain full security clearance
