Quality Control Receiving Inspector
Location: Bridgewater, Virginia
Job Description:
The Quality Control Receiving Inspector role exists to develop, maintain and enforce a framework of standards and inspection for aircraft parts and materials received by Dynamic Aviation.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure proper data is received with aircraft parts and materials
Compare packing list with purchase/repair orders and confirm they are in agreement
Research and draft technical documents
Inspect parts for condition, conformity, at receiving and acquisition Compare the packing list with the Purchase Orders or Repair Order and confirm they are in agreement
Inspect for damaged packages and note on packing list and purchase order (if applicable) the packaging was damaged and open the package to inspect for damage to the items inside
Inspect all articles and items for container damage from shipping, condition, state of preservation and confirm they are the items listed on packing list, Purchase Order or Repair Order
If an article or item is damaged, note on the packing list and purchase order (if applicable), that it is damaged and placed it in the Quarantine parts bin for shipment back to supplier
Inspect the documentation shipped with the articles and items. This would include 8130-3’s, shipping and receiving documents from the supplier’s source and certification documents from the original sources
Compare the documentation with information off the article or item, packing list and purchase order to insure they agree
Inspect the articles and items for any irregularities in packaging, markings, finishes, construction, documentation, unusual source or signs of modifications to evaluate the possibility of a Suspected Unapproved Part. Place any Suspected Unapproved Parts in Quarantine parts bin
Evaluate an item for shelf life requirements by manufacturer’s technical data, packaging, description or regulatory requirement

Job Requirements:
A&P License or strong logistics or inspection background
High level of technical aptitude
Ability to communicate effectively
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to follow directions and remain on task
A thorough understanding of aircraft and aircraft parts
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work in close proximity to other people with a cooperative attitude
Ability to lift, balance, and carry 50 lbs.
