Job Role:

We seek a Quality Control Engineer for our Harness Manufacturing department to perform as the focal for all quality control related work and responsibilities.

Candidates with experience of quality management functions within a cable harness manufacturing facility or aviation component manufacturing facility are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities                                                                                               

• Verify that products from raw material to finished harness meet standards of quality and safety, by way of measuring, examining and testing of product samples.
• Review First Article Inspection Reports from Dubai Manufacturing and from suppliers 
• Submit to QA Capability Amendment Applications for new harnesses or other products, after confirming that all prerequisites for new capability are satisfied.
• Implements and improves quality control procedures, work instructions, and quality control planning.
• Evaluate and investigate non-conforming products for cause and corrective action.
• Perform liaison activity and provide technical support to the quality control (inspection) personal.
• Perform root cause analyses to support the application of closed-loop corrective action.
• Support supplier management (performs inspection, reviews quality system, supplier surveillance, and continuous improvement techniques) BS in Electrical Engineering or a closely related Engineering degree.

Qualifications and experience

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related Engineering degree.
• Strong experience as a Quality Control Engineer, preferably from the Cable Harness Manufacturing or Aviation Industry. 
• ASQ certifications (CQM, CQSA, CQT or CMI) are a plus as well as other professional recognitions such as six-sigma Green or Black Belt and experience in Lean Manufacturing.
• Interpret specifications, engineering drawings, engineering process specifications and test data.
• Must be proficient with the use of MS Office suite of software applications.
• Fluency in written and spoken English with strong report writing skills.
