Quality Assurance Specialists

STS Technical Services is now offering Quality Assurance Specialist jobs in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Responsibilities:

* Work alongside of local catering supervisors/managers to assure process adherence

* Oversee quality audits in all location of the operations (catering facility, AOA, and aircraft) to ensure caterer compliance to OBS product specifications

* Oversee facility operations areas: dishwashing area, assembly areas, warehouse, dock, cooler

* This individual can be required to work in cold environment such as food storage coolers

* Qualified candidates will be required to implement new processes and oversee adherence to them

* Catering contractor position requires a high level of flexibility to perform ad-hoc duties as needed for various projects and initiatives

* Weekend and evening coverage will be required for the 24/7 operations to include holidays

* The positions will manage change management, coaching and training other employees

* The individual must practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

* Understanding of process and metric correlation, technical expertise in Lean/six sigma, and the ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix environment is desired.

* Interpret and report performance metrics to key stakeholders (internal and external) to drive accountability and escalate performance degradation (as necessary) in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications:

* Be highly organized, maintain a team focus and be results oriented, as well as demonstrate servant leadership to influence without authority.

* Qualified candidates must be able to work with diverse work groups, and be ready to provide proactive recommendations for change where required.

* Computer skills are preferred

* Qualified candidates must be self-starters and able to work independently with limited instruction and supervision.

* Prior airline catering experience preferred or strong project management in a light manufacturing

* Prior production facility operations experience preferred
