About the role:

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for conducting quality audits of internal departments of Virgin Tech and external organisations for compliance with the Exposition Manual Suite (EMS), National Aviation Authority Legislation and operator/customer procedure manuals and contractual arrangements as appropriate.

Reporting to the Leader, Quality Assurance success in this role will be achieved by delivering, monitoring and maintaining compliant business procedures during the provision of aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance services.

Core to your role will be to conduct quality audits of internal departments of Virgin Tech and external organisations for compliance with procedures manuals, National Aviation Authority regulations and quality standards as appropriate. To do this you will develop and implement the Company Audit Plan, prepare audit checklists and conduct the appropriate follow-up actions, including the development of quality awareness programs and carry out the annual audit review.

Who you are:

Your ability to work autonomously and drive to deliver results will ensure your success in this role. You have an analytical nature with a comprehensive understanding of CASA Maintenance Regulations in particular Part 145. You are also able to demonstrate your sound understanding of CASA legislation in relation to aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance activities.

What you’ll need:

* It is essential that you hold Lead Auditor qualifications and have previous working experience from within the Aviation industry.

* It will be advantageous if you are a qualified AME/LAME or have an equivalent defence or aircraft manufacturing background.

* Previous experience in carrying out aviation based audits, both internally and externally and demonstrated experience in report writing is essential.

* Extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications.
