Quality Inspector II .
Job Description
In this position, the Quality Inspector:
* Manages the Quality processes for specific programs including engineering drawing review, supplier source inspection, weekly project reviews, and all levels of inspection including customer source inspection.
* Performs necessary testing on products to ensure compliance with customer requirements
* Completes first article inspections (FAI)
* Performs visual weld inspection
* May have occasional (less than 5%) travel to suppliers for source inspection or customers for training
* Actively participates in team-based continuous improvements
* Must be willing and able to work overtime, as necessary
* Performs other duties as assigned or required by the position

Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED required
* Technical college education in electronics is preferred
* Prefer 5 years Quality Inspector experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience in aerospace and/or defense industry is preferred
* Prefer 5 years experience using MS Office applications and MRP system
* Prefer 5 years experience reading and understanding electronic schematics, wire lists, and dimensional data
* Prefer 5 years experience using a variety of precision measuring tools
* Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels, both internal and external customers
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
* Possessing an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is preferred
