QA Inspector

The QA Inspector will conduct dimensional inspection of space-flight hardware, ground support equipment and other components using tools such as a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Optical Comparator, and other inspection tools (gages, calipers, micrometers, etc), verifying conformance to engineering drawings and/or specification requirements. The individual determines or assists in determining methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection, and generates inspection reports. The individual will maintain a log for all hardware and will be responsible for coordinating calibration of inspection equipment and for arranging equipment maintenance with the customer. The QA Inspector will interface with SGT Quality Assurance personnel, the customer and engineers to ensure hardware inspection requirements are satisfied and that discrepancies are recorded and reported in an expedited manner.
