Responsibilities

Provides Legendary Customer Service by managing Provisioning Agents and, as a working Supervisor, oversees their work performance to ascertain that all job assignments are carried out according to Company regulations in a Safe and efficient manner to assure that an on-time operation is maintained.     

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

* Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all Internal and External Customers.
* Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company.
* Ensures that Provisioning Agents are aware of appropriate regulations, procedures, and Company policies.
* Reviews the work performance of Provisioning Agents to insure that their work performance, attendance, and appearance meet Company requirements.
* Ensures that all Provisioning personnel are properly assigned and utilized. Assigns overtime as needed.
* Accurately verifies that aircraft are properly serviced and provisioned prior to departure.
* Actively coordinates with Operations, Customer Service, Maintenance, Ramp, and Dispatch to maintain the station’s on-time performance.
* Orders, receives, and inventories Provisioning supplies.
* Responsible for ensuring that all Provisioning vehicles and work areas are kept clean.
* Must be able to perform all of the essential job functions of a Provisioning Agent. (See related job description for more information about those duties and qualifications.)
* Participates in initial and ongoing training (classroom and on-the-job), and remains current on knowledge, information, and equipment to achieve sustained maximum proficiency.
* Duties may vary by size and organization of Provisioning Station.      
* Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
* May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

* High School diploma or equivalency required; some college course work would be an asset.      

WORK EXPERIENCE:

* 1 year Airline or related work experience desirable.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:

* Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge and meet all local airport requirements.
* Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
* May be required by Station Leadership to obtain a Customs Seal and meet all requirements to work international flights.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

* Must be able to observe, and discern safety practices and communicate with Team members verbally and in writing.
* Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
* Must be able to work in cramped or high places. Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
* Must be able to bend, stretch, and squat to position self while working in the designated work areas including aircraft galleys, provisioning vehicles, warehouse/office area, and other designated work areas.
* Must be able to operate cutting tools to open supply boxes.
* Must maintain the ability to wear prescribed uniforms.      

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

* Must be able to successfully complete Provisioning Agent training (classroom and on-the-job).
* Employee must maintain a satisfactory rating on all performance appraisals.
* Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies as needed.
* Must work under tight time constraints to accomplish quick turns of aircraft.
* Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles, aircraft, or personnel.
* Must be able to use radio equipment.
* Must be able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment.
* Ability to use computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet demands of job.
* Must be able to sufficiently use and navigate current computer software.
* Must be able to work on provisioning trucks and provisioning stands at heights of 10 feet or above.
* Able to read documents, follow instructions, learn, understand, and teach provisioning procedures, rules, and regulations including federal and local security regulations.
* Ability to work with others as part of a Team, meet the public and work in a variety of challenging situations.      
* Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must be able to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.     
* Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
