Job description

Project Management:
1. Manage a variety of capital and non-capital projects.
2. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a clear and timely manner.
3. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
4. Schedule contractors and manage day-to-day activities to complete projects on time.
5. Improve equipment reliability and operation through analysis of data and experimental evaluation.
6. Available to manage projects outside USA including extended assignments.
Team Building:
7. Build effective working relationships and networks across impacted/involved areas.
Reporting:
8. Prepare, distribute and maintain all project documentation, including project schedules, status reports, change requests, and summaries.
9. Provide visibility of project status and issues and drive issue resolution with innovative approaches.

Job requirements

Attributes/Skills Required: The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:
1. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
2. Manage design scope, planning, cost estimating, cost and schedule control, contractor review, and project execution from beginning to end.
3. Broad mechanical, electrical, control system and hydraulic systems knowledge.
4. “Hands on” approach to problem solving.

Experience/Education Required:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in related engineering field.
2. Ten (10) years of experience working in a related manufacturing field.
3. Experience with capital project management in excess of $5M.
