Project engineer

Mission:

As a project engineer, you will assist the maintenance Project Manager with the identification, implementation, execution and follow-up and tracking of projects within the Maintenance & Engineering Department (M&E).

Tasks:

* Organise workshops and participate in (inter-) departmental meetings and workgroups in order to identify project opportunities

* Preparing the business case/project charter: identify issue and objective and make the project plan.

* Get the necessary approvals based on input from other departments

* Draw up project plan (timing, allocation of resources etc.) in order to realize the required project within the predetermined timing, budget and objectives

* Take ownership in the implementation of the project plan

* Provide regular status updates and adapt the projectplan when necessary

* Report on completion

Profile:

* Bachelor or Master degree in a technical domain

* Minimum 2 year experience preferably in aerospace maintenance

* IT skills/knowledge through education, experience or interest

* Have strong interest in technology & process digitalization/innovation

* Be able to manage technical projects in an orderly and structured manner

* Strong analytical skills

* An agile decision maker who gets things done

* Problem solver and process-oriented approach

* Good communication and reporting skills

* Be able to work independently

* Very good Dutch and English language skills, verbal and written (French is a plus)

* Knowledge of AMOS, SQL and data analysis tools is an asset
