PROJECT DIRECTOR TRANSIT SYSTEM

Join us as a Project Director Transit System and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Edmonton, Alberta.
As a Project Director Transit System, you will act within the boundaries of the contract with the full power of the Division President’s authority to safely deliver the object of the contract to the client and targeted finical results to Bombardier.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that Project Management procedures and tools are effectively deployed through the Core Team;
- Delegate appropriate responsibility and objectives to the Core Team Project;
- Build, develop and motivate a high-caliber team that strives to provide a high-quality performance to meet project outcomes;
- Establish performance measures that assists in guiding the Project Team to successful completion of the project;
- Develop project implementation objectives for multidivisional team clearly outlining their performance measures;
- Build and maintain effective and collaborative working relationship with the client and partners by proactively working with them to mitigate potential issues and challenges;
- Manage complex stakeholder networks and broker solutions to issues as which arise;
- Work closely with Consortium Team members to overcome contentious issues in effective manner.
Qualifications
Key requirements:
- University Degree;
- Ten (10) years of leadership experience;
- Fifteen (15) years of experience;
- Experience in project management tools and processes, contract management, construction finance and large project procurements;
- Experience in the delivery, procurement, construction, commissioning or operating a project;
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
