Position: Program Leader, Metrics & Reporting
Position Summary: The Program Leader, Metrics & Reporting will be responsible for supporting Airframe Maintenance and Operations with reporting, analysis, scheduling, and maintenance of personnel. The Program Leader is responsible for ongoing support for staffing, salary planning, job evaluations, assignments, and works with Leaders on hiring procedures, programs and policies. Supports Crewman, LMS, MPS, Big Board and Empower updates. Creates, monitors and analyzes expression of interest postings. Supports Base Maintenance Shift Bid.
Develops recommendations based on analysis and synthesis of information from multiple sources. Serves as liaison and subject matter expert on behalf of Airframe Maintenance and Operations Leadership. Works cross-divisional with various departments to provide input on the staffing-related operational impact of strategic and network decisions. Acts as subject matter expert in statistical analysis software and development of staffing models.
Create reporting that analyzes the monthly front line staffing variances versus the Operating Plan. Consolidate monthly staffing reports for review with senior leadership. Serves as a subject matter expert for all items related to staffing and TOBS support.
Leads capacity related projects that aid in better deployment of resources and continually reviews processes to improve operational performance, productivity and efficiency. Acts as liaison with technology vendors and prepares ad hoc reporting and analyses as required.
Develops strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment.
Bachelors level degree required or equivalent work experience will be considered.
Minimum 3 years of analytical or project management-related work experience required.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter who takes accountability for performance while requiring minimal supervision.
Position requires the ability to work alone or part of a team and requires excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to report clear, concise and accurate ad-hoc reports to all levels of leadership, both domestically and internationally.
Must be able to handle highly confidential material efficiently and effectively.
Must possess time management, multi-tasking, project management, and organizational skills.
Should be able to work effectively with employees and all levels of leadership within the company, as well as various organizations and agencies external to Delta.
Must be able to network and build effective relationships with Compensation & Benefits, Legal, Labor Relations and HR Service Delivery.
Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio) as well as proprietary skills (SAP, Brio).
Must be able/willing to travel domestically & internationally and have a solid comprehension of global cultures.
Must be proficient in Crewman, Survey Monkey, Empower, MPS and LMS
