Role and Responsibilities

This position provides technical and analytical support services for acquisition, engineering, and integration planning of electronic warfare (EW) systems to the F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs in Lexington Park, MD. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responds to direction from company manager/supervisor. Provides, supports and complies with a variety of company activities (e.g. required/contractual training, special projects, proposals, data calls, etc.).

• Performs services and analyses in support of program management, acquisition, technical, or business efforts. As a result, provides recommendations and provides products to support F/A-18 program lifecycle decisions.

• Specific duties include but are not limited to:

o Provides research and analysis of project schedules, contract deliverables, and acquisition directives to determine impacts and recommendations to meet project requirements

o Integrate and coordinate technical efforts with a variety customers and manufacturers to develop and implement aircraft upgrade program/project planning, procurement, and development of associated acquisition and procurement documentation.

o Collect, assess, and provide technical and financial analyses and recommendations to assist in the development, coordination, and integration of program technical and business solutions.

o Develops and coordinates a wide range of program related products: acquisition documentation, engineering change proposal review and assessment, CDRL development, drafting of SOW, develop decision briefings for the customer.

Education / Experience Requirements

A BS or BA degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline with at least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline. This must include a minimum of two (2) out of four (4) years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning in a DoD major weapon system program to include specific knowledge of FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs.

Allowable Substitution: AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of related experience is required (8 total years); OR an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement (10 total years).

Specific Experience Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in program/project status

• Familiarity with SECNAV processes
